DAVID BATEMAN:

David S. Bateman began his music career by studying piano with the famous jazz pianist Paul Smith. This lead to a life long love of piano and composition. His first big break came when he mentored under the well-known TV and film composer Kurt Farquhar.

David’s music is featured on TV shows as diverse as The Neighborhood, Being Mary Jane, King of Queen’s, The L Word, and The Real Husbands of Hollywood. He’s also programmed or co-written music for animated shorts such as B Rock and the Emmy nominated web series, The Adventures of Baxter and McGuire. He’s had hundreds of pieces licensed with True Music for films and TV.

David currently is composing for film. His musical styles range from organic dramatic sound palettes, to horror, to comedy. Examples of his music can be heard at https://soundcloud.com/cakemaker626

In 2014, Shiré released the anthem song, “Cold World” featuring Rap Artist, “Maino,” in the BET movie, “Gun Hill.” starring Larenz Tate. Here, she reunited with Grammy Award Nominated Producer Carvin Haagins, while including veteran artist like R&B Duo “RuffEndz” and new up and coming artists “Elly”, “J Lauren” and “V.I.P.” to get their music heard nationally.

Shire’ wants to be known as that “go to” music person in the film world who can deliver incredible music that will give life to any film or TV show as she continues her pursuit as a “quadruple threat” singer, songwriter, actress and now music executive. She is managed by CK Management.

WILLIE BAILEY

Willie Bailey Los Angeles, CA

Raised in Gary, Indiana, just 15 minutes from the famous home of the Jacksons, Willie developed a deep passion for the arts as a child.

“My mom used to play R&B and Soul all the time,” Willie explains. “So, I naturally gravitate to that kind of sound; there’s a warmth and timelessness to it that I’ve always loved.” “I would record music for my friends and jump on the piano so I could work out music to the ideas I heard in my head.” They’d be so excited that I was able to translate their ideas into reality for them.

As his name grew in the Chicago Area, Willie and one of his groups began opening up for  artists such as, Phyllis Hyman, Bernie Mac, TLC, Stevie Wonder, Dru Hill, Donnie Mcclurkin, Kim Burrell, Kirk Franklin and more. He also wrote, produced, and arranged two McDonald’s radio commercials.

Willie is in the studio daily, working along side UMPG’s Singer Song Writer Shire’ honing his skills.  “Everyday I’m falling in love with music all over again.” Willie’s placements include Trey Haley’s “Man in 3B” and BET’s “Family Business.” He also recorded, wrote, produced and mixed songs for Corey Grant and New Breed Entertainment’s “Illicit and Pump” Next, he produced and wrote a powerful piece for FOX’s, “ Shot’s Fired” featuring Ruff Endz and Marques Clae. The song was entered into the FYC for the Emmy’s.  Right now Willie is precisely where he’s always wanted to be, creating music that is the culmination of where he’s been and where he’s going!
